Photography 1-2: Project 3 Balance and Contrast

Kaleidoscopes
I really liked this image because of the gold and silvers that it captures, it reminds me of christmas. I also thought it had good symmetrical balance.
I am proud of this one because I have never seen a kaleidoscope that uses only water. It also did a good job of capturing cool colors.

This kaleidoscope also did a decent job of capturing cool coloring. Plus, the circle around it makes it appear more defined.

This is my favorite kaleidoscope that I made. It is crisp, clean and does a good job of depicting the winter season.

This one, like some others that I made, has Christmas and Winter-like feel to it because of its cool and gold coloring.

Strong Contrast in Texture
This one showed strong contrast in texture due to its comparison of rough and tainted bricks, to a smooth, cement wall.

 Triptychs
I liked this triptych because of its bleak coloring and different angles.

I liked this one also because it's bleak. It also includes the rule of thirds in areas.

Diptychs
I liked this one because it consists of depth of field and a color comparison.

This one shows slow shutter and has a dark, cold winter feel to it (which it was very cold this day, i had lost my down jacket).

 Strong Contrast in Color
This is my favorite photo that I took because of its bright and "poppy" colors and its depiction of fall.

Symmetrical Balance
I took this photo at Powells and  I think the rows of books did a good job of showing symmetrical balance.
